Dear Knitting Friend,
Fiber Arts Yarn Shop would like to invite you to join a
Knitting or Crocheting Class!
this semester, we are adding several new sessions of Beginner and
intermediate Knitting and crocheting classes, with Special Saturday
Workshops on 1)Felting for knitters and crocheters, and, 2) special
Garment Finishing techniques, to be announced.
Beginning Knitting
-
No skills required! You will learn Cast On, Knit and Purl stitches,
bind off, and more as time permits. Knit a fantastic scarf for
yourself or a friend. Most students will complete two projects. Call
for more details. Conducted by Kitty Winkworth, class size 6
students.
Monday 10 -12 pm January 17, 2005
Thursday 6 - 8 pm January 13, 2005
Intermediate Knitting
- Knitters must Possess basic knowledge of Knitting: cast on, knit &
purl stitches, and bind off. You will learn new stitches, garment
finishing, and techniques. Work on the project of your choice. Call
for more details. Conducted by Meryl Williams, class size 6
students.
Sunday 12 - 2 pm January 23, 2005
Tuesday 6 - 8 pm January 25, 2005
Beginning Crochet

No skills required! You will learn chain Stitch, single & double
Crochet, other stitches as time permits. Crochet a fashion scarf for
yourself or a friend. Most students complete two projects. Call for
more details. Conducted by Margaret Robinson, class size 6
students.
Saturday 10 - 12 pm January 15, 2005
Class Details:
Cost per class is $60/6 Weeks. Classes run for 6 continuous weeks, and
then repeat. As class size is limited, registration will be on a first
come, first served basis. (You are considered registered when your class
fee is paid.) Sorry, we do not offer credit for missed classes, although
you will receive any handouts you might miss. Students receive 10%
discount on purchases at the shop. Come, join us for fun and
friendship, and bring a friend or family member with you.
